This piece was inspired by my 4 year old son and the never ending plight to get him to eat his fruit and vegetables. We spent a year trying a huge range of new and exotic fruits and even started our own veggie patch at home. This whole journey opened my eyes to the glory and beauty of the humble vegetable. I became obsessed with drawing it with ink and trying to capture its magnificence and stunning simplicity. My hope is that this work will bring warmth and a sense of comfort to your home.
