A little piece of home, captured in ink and watercolour.
“Bottlebrush” is inspired by the vibrant native tree just outside my studio window — the one I find myself gazing up at throughout the day. Its soft red bristles catch the light beautifully, and as they fall gently across my yard (and yes… all over my car), they’re a constant reminder of the landscape I’m lucky to live and create in.
This artwork is about those quiet, everyday moments of connection — the ones we don’t always notice, but would deeply miss if they were gone.
